Post:
Just two miles west on Northern Boulevard is Wheatley Plaza, featuring
a Pathmark supermarket as well as a Gap, Ben's Kosher Deli, London Jewelers,
Harvé Benard and Häagen Daaz. A few more miles west is the Americana
Shopping Center, with Liz Claiborne, Banana Republic, Coach, and Swensen's
Ice Cream.
Between Roosevelt Field (Garden City) and the Broadway Mall (Hicksville),
you have more than 300 stores at your fingertips - from major department
stores (Macy's, Stern's and Sears) and outlets - to restaurants - like Nathan's
and Red Lobster.
You can also cruise the Gold Coast's Miracle Mile along Northern Boulevard
for exclusive shopping at Lord & Taylor, Talbot's and Sak's Fifth Avenue.
Located on campus is a Barnes & Noble bookstore. In addition to books
and basic toiletry articles, choose from a huge selection of C.W Post t-shirts,
pennants and other college memorabilia.
The Annex in Hillwood Commons offers candy, newspapers and magazines,
