Field: Rhetoric or English language able to teach a variety of courses in linguistics from a humanities perspective to students without previous study of linguistics. The successful candidate will have a background in English as a second language and serve as a resource person for helping non-native speakers with written English at various levels. The ability to teach wide-ranging surveys of Western literature to non-majors would be welcome. Scholarly publications required. To begin September 2008. Salary and teaching load: competitive.
