09/97 -- Continued Statistics, Management Science College of Management, LONG ISLAND UNIVERSITY, C.W. Post Campus, New York. Director of MIS. Responsibilities include:

  1. Creating a strong student interest in the MIS field thus attracting an increasing number of majors to the College's programs.
  2. Recruiting and/or developing an outstanding MIS faculty.
  3. Building support among the College's various internal and external constituencies.
  4. Developing external sources of funding, ultimately an Endowed Chair.
  5. Serving as the College's planning and advisory resource for acquisition of technological equipment and software.

Management Support Analyst & MIS Project Leader. Associated with several interdisciplinary projects for the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank as well as for the Federal Reserve System.

Project Management Administrator. Implementor of SPECTRUM (a System Development Methodology) for the Data Processing Department consisting of about 130 DP professionals.

06/1977-09/1978: CONTROL DATA CORPORATION, Minneapolis.
Systems Analyst and Senior Systems Analyst. Was the prime developer and implementor of a few small and one large DP system. Received immense appreciation from DP-users.

03/1970-09/1973: IBM WORLD TRADE CORPORATION, New Delhi, India.
Programmer and Programmer Analyst. Did programming and analysis for several DP projects.

07/1969-03/1970: NATIONAL DAIRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD, India.
OR Analyst. Devised optimal price-product mix for dairy plants and used LP to locate plants.

09/1967-07/1968: DCM CHEMICAL WORKS, New Delhi, India.
Chemical Engineer for the Caustic Soda and Sulfuric Acid Plants.
