Recognition, Accomplishments, and Awards

  1. January 1998: Appointed Editor-In-Chief of a new and novel journal -- Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications (JITCA). The first issued of this journal will be out in January, 1999.
  2. November, 1997: Appointed an Associated Editor of the Journal of Global Information Technology Management.
  3. Spring 1996: Glowing review of the 1996 book titled, Global Information Technology and Systems Management in the Journal of Global Information Management.
  4. February, 1996: Honored in an article published in Hicksville Illustrated News regarding the 1996 publication of the book titled, "Global IT and Systems Management."
  5. 1992-1997: Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Information Management (JGIM).
  6. October, 1991: Received a plaque from Babson President in recognition of contribution to the Babson's Strategic Planning Excel Team on Human Resources Development.
  7. April, 1987: Received the Best Paper award (with a prize money of $200.00) for the paper submitted published in the proceedings of the Northeast Decision Institute Conference, held in Atlantic city.

  8. March, 1987: The article titled, "The Design and Implementation of a Multidimensional Retail Information System", was selected as one of the five finalists for the Annual SIM Paper Competition.
  9. April, 1985: The designation of Certified Systems Professional (CSP) was conferred by the Association for Systems Management.
