The
program begins in the Fall semester of each year. The Fall semester
courses are taught on the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University
in Brookville, New York. In the Spring semester, students take their
courses on the campus of European Business School London in London,
England. The Summer semester courses are taught at The American University
of Paris, in Paris, France.
Because of the multitude
of economic and political changes throughout the world today, there
is a greater need for individuals who are educated and trained in
the complex requirements of international business including: business
competence, foreign language, cultural awareness and sensitivity,
overseas experience and familiarity with global business practices
and institutions. The Accelerated International MBA Program offers
a rigorous and challenging international business experience to
those college graduates who have the intelligence, motivation, discipline
and perseverance necessary for successful interaction in an international
business community.
Today's managers face
a world of changing rules as international boundaries are continually
being redefined and new, stronger competitors seem to emerge daily.
A Master in Business Administration degree is intended to help managers
better prepare themselves for this world by teaching them analytical
and creative approaches to identifying and solving business problems.
Strongly contributing
to the future international manager's marketability is the ability
to function effectively in more than one language. Many students
in this program are multi-lingual. During the course of the program
students have an opportunity
to improve their language skills by additional studies on all three
campuses, as well as from living in European and American communities.
The International MBA
Program is a rigorous and demanding experience, but its rewards
are great. Experienced faculty with diverse international backgrounds
help prepare students to
successfully tackle the complex business problems of today's rapidly
changing, and frequently unpredictable, globalized workplace.
The program is full-time,
requiring total commitment.
All courses are taught
in English...the international language of business. The program
helps prepare students for careers in large multi-national organizations
as well as small- to medium-sized family owned/operated enterprises.
