C.W. Post Summer Day Camp

A summer to live, learn and play... a summer to make a difference.

We have the summer job for you! C.W. Post Summer Day Camp seeks to hire individuals who would like to join us in making a difference in the lives of children. All staff must be able to commit to working the entire 2009 summer season, June 29 - August 14, (7 weeks of camp and 4 days of Staff Training.) Applicants should be flexible, friendly, and comfortable spending their days outdoors. As a member of our staff, you will be part of a team of people who create a positive environment for everyone that lives in our community. We require maturity, a good sense of judgment, and the ability to communicate with children and staff.

*Staff may also opt to work after camp.

C.W. Post Summer Day Camp is located on the lovely C.W. Post Campus. The program uses all aspects of the site including the swimming pool, computer labs, grassy fields, air-conditioned classrooms and the Long Island Room in the Winnick Student Center.

• All staff members serve as supervisors and role models to C.W. Post Day Camp campers.
• General and Program Counselors are responsible for lesson planning, camper evaluations, and planning special days.
