On Thursday, September 13, the C.W. Post Multifaith Student Council began
collecting clothing, toiletries, work gloves, socks and other personal
items for rescue workers at the World Trade Center disaster scene.
Local businesses such as the Jericho Delicatessen Salad & Yogurt Bar have
also contributed products to the collection drive.

| More than 75 C.W. Post students attended a candlelight vigil in front of
Riggs Residence Hall at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12. It was organized
by Chi Upsilon Sigma, Lambda Upsilon Lambda, the Student Government
Association, the Association of Campus Programming, and the Council of
Latin American students. |
