The Princeton Review Names C.W. Post One of the
Best Business Schools for Fourth Year in a Row

Brookville, N.Y. -- The College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year by The Princeton Review as one of the best places in the country to earn a Master of Business Administration degree. Students cited supportive faculty, small class sizes, and convenient part-time and full-time schedules offered weeknights and Saturdays.

“The Best 301 Business Schools: 2010 Edition,” which hit bookstores Oct. 6, rates C.W. Post among the best in the nation based on data collected during a three-year survey cycle.

“Classes are not too large, which makes for a better learning environment,” said one student in The Princeton Review summary. “Support from the advisors and faculty is great,” and professors are “responsible, nice and professional.” They are “knowledgeable in their respective fields,” said a reviewer, and “willing to help students” outside of class.

The New York-based education services company surveyed students who attended C.W. Post. The “Survey Says” section of the profile said respondents agreed on C.W. Post’s “friendly, smart [and] interesting” students and beautiful location on the north shore of Long Island. An international population of students adds to a more globalized learning environment where students bring different perspectives and experiences to classroom discussion.

“The Best 301 Business Schools: 2010 Edition” contains two-page profiles of each university or college, covering information on academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings on academics, selectivity and career placement services.

The C.W. Post College of Management’s business programs carry the elite accreditation of AACSB International -- the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The College offers a 36 to 48 credit M.B.A. that can be completed on weekday evenings or Saturdays as well as a three accelerated degree programs: B.S./M.B.A. in Business; B.S./M.B.A. in Accountancy; and the B.A. in International Studies/M.B.A.
